Summer Kennel Tours

Dog Sled Rides of Winter Park has 80 Siberian and Alaskan huskies. During the winter, the dogs pull sleds in the the forests near Winter Park. In the summer they are resting comfortably in the back yard, dreaming of snow and waiting for the sledding season.

Come for a one hour visit to learn about sleddogs, and dog sledding. We’ll show you all the gear and how to use it. See how much work it takes to care for 80 working dogs year round. We save the best for last, letting you get to know a few of the dogs.

Tours are conducted almost daily at 10:00 am, depending on musher availability. Larger groups can select a different start time by special arrangement. Directions to the kennel will be given once you have made a reservation.
